Inter Milan Set to face off Against Rivals AC Milan; How to Watch it Live

The two Italian giants AC Milan and Internazionale Milan are to play each other in the Milan Derby on Saturday, 5th February 2022.

Inter Milan Near-Perfect

The Milan derby is one of the most magnificent events of Italian football, but it is even more significant than usual this season. It has been an audience favourite for a long running time now.

This Inter squad, is one of the strongest we have seen in the past few years. Having won the previous season, and leading the table this season too, Inter is four points clear. They are followed by Napoli, who are also in peak of form.

With the departure of their top-scorer last season Romelu Lukaku leaving to Chelsea and their manager, Antonio Conte left, everyone expected their performance to succumb.

However, they have only performed better, shutting down all doubts.

Having won the Italian SuperCup a couple of weeks ago, they gain an added advantage. Simone Inzaghi’s squad have only lost one game in the Serie A. A victory here, could put them seven points ahead of the other Milan.

AC Need A Spark

AC Milan on the other hand, have a slightly disturbed form, as they drew and suffered a loss in their previous two games. But they also have 49 points along with Napoli, just behind Inter.

Stefano Poli might have to deal with another shocker. His preferred striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He had to come off the pitch at half-time, in their clash against Juventus last week.

The 40-year-old is hoping to be able to start for the Rossoneri in the derby, but he will not be risked if he has not made a full recovery, as this could potentially cause his issue to worsen significantly. Reports suggested that he has injured his ankle tendon.

In the same fixture back in November, the teams shared the points with a 1-1 draw, but the game was dominated by Inter who actually did all of the scoring as AC Milan’s goal was an own goal. Inter’s leading scorer, Lautaro Martinez also missed a penalty kick and at the end of the game.

A loss for the red and blacks, could might as well be the end of their title hopes. So, this weekend’s game is their most essential game up to now.

What Time is the Game?

The match between the two will be played at 6pm local time(CET) on 5th February, 2022.

Where to Watch?

The Serie A game will be streamed live on BT Sport 2, ITV, Eurosport, DAZN, beIN Sport, ESPN and Premier Sport 2.

Our Prediction

We expect Inter Milan to dominate the game. With their powerful squad and current form, Inter should win the game and continue their winning streak.
