Brazilian Midfielder Kenedy

The South American Left-Midfielder who was signed from Fluminense, a Brazilian Carioca Serie A. League team and was loaned further to various teams in different leagues, is now back at his club.

Excitingly, In the final days of this window, An awful lot of players have been reported to be engaged in talks with Chelsea about the entrance and exits.

Possible Signings For Londoners

Ousmane Dembele, the injury magnet, has decided to leave Barcelona after the Spanish side is struggling with finances, and are intending to remain lowkey.
The Frenchman is willing to go with the UCL Champions after a number of teams have shown interest in him.
Also, Chelsea has higher chances of signing Dembele than other teams, since Tuchel has always liked the player considering his own words “Dembele’s talent was innate. Very, very unusual. We had a lot of top players on the team, but Ousmane was one of the craziest talents I saw.” When he managed Borussia Dortmund.

Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco was one of the players, Chelsea was batting an eye on but the deal got hijacked by Real Madrid after they put up great efforts to get in the bidding war to sign the French star.

Ronald Araujo, Barcelona’s solid Centre-Back put down a renewal offer, now that the current one was scheduled to be terminated in summer 2023, Chelsea and Manchester United, both were after the Uruguayan defender. The talks are yet to move forward.

Endrick Palmeiras, who’s set to leave Malaysia Super League club Penang, is turning 16 in July 2022. Several English clubs are prepared to enter the auction-type situation toe to toe alongside Man City, Liverpool, Man United which includes Chelsea too.

Another deal could be taken over by Real Madrid since Carlos Ancelotti is after Palmeiras too.

Borna Sosa, a full-back from the tight German league, Bundesliga, is a potential target for Chelsea in the summer of 2022.

Emerson Palmieri, Chelsea’s target for mission ‘cover for injured Chilwell’, was denied an offer of £3.35m by Lyon’s board when the blues tried bidding with the mentioned amount.

A load of rumours have been lit up by journalists all over Europe, apart from the mentioned ones.

Along with these players, Jules Kounde. Presnel Kimpembe, Laywin Kurzawa, Raphinha from Leeds United and plenty of players have reported being contacted or have contacted the Chelsea board in recent days.

Exit Rumours

The back door of Stamford Bridge is open for some athletes who have aged more than that of usual standards. The board does not offer a more than 1-year contract extension to players of higher ages. This reason has led many players to find an alternative before it gets late.

Paris Saint-Germain has shown interest in signing Romelu Lukaku.

Cezar Azipilicueta is now in talks with Barcelona since Chelsea won’t offer him a long-term (3 years long) contract and he fears play-time decrement too.

Antonio Rudiger has been contacted by Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Italian side Juventus. Chelsea is in the negotiation phase since the German Centre-Back refused an offer of £140,000-per-week.

Danish defender, Andreas Christensen, whose contract is yet to be renewed by Chelsea.
Reports have claimed that Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are very desperate to sign the Centre-Back.

Hakim Ziyech has a possible move scheduled at Tottenham Hotspur since Antonio Conte says that Hakim Ziyech is a perfect player who would fit in his formation because Harry Kane can then play as a pure striker and Son will no longer have to fall deep to get the ball.

Ruben-Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley can prove out to be the two probable exits before January ends.

Failed Deals

Chelsea board were in talks with the Dutch star from Amsterdam, Matthijs de Ligt, but were unable to close him

Brazilian 5-star-skiller, Antony from Ajax has reportedly failed to sign for Chelsea, Callum Hudson-Odoi to FC Barcelona or Dortmund, Captain America-Pulisic to Liverpool, Wesley Fofana from Leicester to London, Gavi and Florian Wirtz to Chelsea are some of the moves that didn’t find their destinations whatsoever.

It doesn’t matter what year and season, the transfer window never fails to amaze us.

Let’s wait and watch how many last-moment transactions can these parties pull before the dust settles down and the Blues come in the clutch to fight for Premier League and UCL cup and make the latter half, the better half of their 2021/2022 season.
